Xendit is a Southeast Asian payment infrastructure platform processing millions of transactions monthly for thousands of businesses ranging from SMEs to enterprises. The company provides APIs, eCommerce integrations, and applications for payment processing, marketplace enablement, payroll disbursement, loans, KYC solutions, and fraud prevention.
As a Merchant Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for reviewing and processing merchant KYC profiles in compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. You will assess LDD (Legal Due Diligence), BDD (Business Due Diligence), and business use cases to determine merchant eligibility for the platform.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting business profile reviews for incoming merchant onboarding accounts
- Reviewing submitted information and documentation for compliance with local regulations and Xendit standards
- Processing cases based on team priorities, reworks, and KYC expiry dates
- Gathering documentation and maintaining records of evidence
- Assessing risk in business decisions while protecting company reputation and safeguarding Xendit
- Reporting operational, system, and policy issues immediately
- Meeting quality and production targets
- Collaborating with teams across multiple geographies to fulfill KYC requirements per compliance and regulatory standards
- Managing ad hoc tasks for effective project management
- Supporting payment channel activations by coordinating with external partners and internal teams to ensure merchants are successfully set up to accept payments
- Resolving issues and unblocking delays while maintaining compliance and smooth end-to-end merchant experience
You will collaborate cross-functionally with Compliance, Risk, Product, Sales, and Partnerships teams to solve onboarding and activation cases efficiently. This role offers exposure to payment flows, partner requirements, and regulatory considerations, with opportunities to contribute to process and tool improvements.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree from a reputable university in Business Administration, Finance/Accounting, Communications, or Computer Science/IT
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a customer-facing role or similar (fresh graduates from reputable universities welcome)
- Professional fluency in both English and Thai (required)
- Standard proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Suite tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Gdocs, Gsheets, Gslides)
- Plus: prior experience in fintech/banking operations or account opening functions
