In this Member of Technical Staff role, you will help build and evolve DesignArena, owning products end-to-end across the full stack. You'll improve user experiences while building the distributed systems and platform infrastructure that power millions of real-time interactions. The role offers flexibility to focus on infrastructure and backend problems, frontend features, or a combination of both.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own the entire product lifecycle from conception through deployment
- Run A/B tests and conduct data-driven experiments to optimize human-model interaction experiences
- Collaborate with the world-class founding designer to realize product-interaction visions
- Ship new product capabilities and improve system reliability, performance, and latency
- Scale DesignArena as the company expands to new products and modalities
- Continuously iterate based on user feedback and evolving product needs
The company operates on a Sunday-Friday schedule, giving you Saturdays off. They sponsor visas and handle relocation for candidates. Compensation includes competitive salary and meaningful equity at a stage where ownership matters most.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience building great products: you've shipped user-facing applications, backend services, or distributed systems in production
- Strong focus on performance, reliability, and low latency
- Passion for owning products end-to-end and solving real user problems
