Favorited is building a digital community platform that goes beyond passive content consumption, enabling creators to foster deeper audience engagement through interactive and gamified experiences. The company is seeking exceptional engineers to join their team and help shape the future of social interaction. As a Member of Technical Staff, you'll work on a range of impactful technical challenges depending on your expertise and where you can make the greatest impact. The role is open-ended and designed for strong technical talent who can operate independently in a fast-moving environment. You may work on: building new products and experiences from 0 → 1; scaling existing systems and applications as the user base grows; developing native mobile applications for iOS and Android; building scalable backend services, APIs, and distributed systems; developing full-stack experiences; building and scaling infrastructure for reliable, high-performance consumer applications; working on real-time interactive experiences across gaming, livestreaming, and social; partnering with product and design teams; identifying technical and product opportunities; and helping establish the technical foundation and architecture for scale. The ideal candidate has proven experience building consumer-facing products at scale, with demonstrated ability to take products from 0 → 1 or scale them from 1 → 10. Strong expertise in one or more areas is required: native iOS development, native Android development, full-stack engineering, backend engineering, or infrastructure/platform engineering. You should have experience with large-scale consumer applications, startup experience or demonstrated ability to operate in high-ownership environments, strong product instincts, ability to work independently and navigate ambiguity, and excellent communication skills. Standout candidates have been part of small teams that took products from idea to launch, helped scale products through significant growth, worked at startups with broad ownership, are equally interested in technology and product experience, have strong opinions and curiosity, are passionate about gaming/livestreaming/creator communities, and are self-starters excited about solving novel problems.
