Nutanix is seeking a Senior SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) to join the Nutanix Data Hub (NDH) QA team. This role focuses on test planning, test case development, and automation strategy for the NDH product suite, which provides AI/ML data management, governance, and multi-cloud orchestration capabilities.
You will own end-to-end product quality across performance, load, and scale testing. Key responsibilities include developing comprehensive test plans and automation frameworks, defining test strategies aligned with release timelines, improving existing automated test suites, and maintaining high quality indices. You'll collaborate closely with Development, UI/UX, and Product Management teams, providing active feedback to enhance the product experience and debugging issues alongside engineers.
The role requires 4–7 years of QA and automation experience, with strong Python expertise and deep knowledge of Linux, distributed systems, and Kubernetes. You should have hands-on experience with API test framework development, virtualization platforms (VMware, KVM, Hyper-V), version control (Git), and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, CircleCI). Experience with monitoring/cloud products is a plus. A BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent is preferred.
You'll work in a hybrid arrangement with a minimum of 3 days per week onsite in Pune to foster collaboration and team alignment.
