Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, is seeking a Material Planner to join the Demand & Supply Planning team. This role is responsible for material flow across the entire value chain—from raw materials through finished goods shipped to customers—supporting the rapid iteration and production of cutting-edge defense hardware including static equipment, mobile ground equipment, and flight vehicles.
You will have full ownership of certain assemblies and product lines and be ultimately responsible for signaling to Purchasing and Manufacturing what and when to buy or build. Key responsibilities include:
• Develop and manage the production plan, working with Purchasing to ensure component availability and schedule production in line with supply.
• Provide visibility on part shortages to purchasing and production teams (clear-to-build status).
• Forecast component requirements to the Supply Chain team for production planning.
• Partner cross-functionally to prioritize supply allocations.
• Coordinate with Engineering to provide visibility into material coverage for component changes.
• Manage consumables inventory to support Production needs.
• Develop and maintain processes for working within MRP systems and associated master data.
The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced, resource-limited environments, demonstrates holistic ownership of operational challenges, and can provide creative solutions. You will be flexible and ready to support wherever needed to ensure products are built and shipped under stringent quality standards.
Anduril's Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system, powers the company's family of systems by turning thousands of data streams into a real-time, 3D command and control center. The company is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.
REQUIREMENTS:
• 3+ years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in supply chain or production roles involving complex mechanical and/or electrical assemblies.
• Prior knowledge of Netsuite or similar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
• Ability to travel up to 15–20%.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
• Ability to relocate to Costa Mesa, CA if not already local; role requires onsite presence.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field (mechanical/aerospace/manufacturing engineering, electrical engineering, computer engineering, supply chain, or business with technical minor/concentration).
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and/or Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma principles in practice.
• Demonstrated ability to completely own a value chain from start to finish, coordinating among multiple internal and external parties to achieve on-time deliveries under stringent quality standards.
• Willingness to take on substantial responsibility across supply chain, logistics, engineering, and material planning functions with a bias toward speed and accuracy.
