Salary: USD 129,000 - 171,000 / annual

Anduril Industries is seeking a Mass Properties Engineer to join the Air Dominance and Strike Mechanical Engineering Team, responsible for designing and integrating advanced hardware for Group 5 air vehicles and missile platforms. In this role, you will own mass properties (weight, center of gravity, and inertia) data development throughout the full air vehicle design lifecycle, from concept through integration and flight test. Key responsibilities include: • Develop, track, and maintain mass properties data across all design phases • Define mass properties-related design requirements and participate in vehicle/subsystem configuration trade studies • Estimate, calculate, measure, and verify weight, balance, and inertia for components, assemblies, and completed vehicles • Support vehicle and subsystem-level weight and balance control efforts • Develop and maintain mass properties accounting systems • Generate mass properties reports and author Weights and Balance Manuals • Participate in developing and implementing new processes and tools You will work on cutting-edge autonomous air vehicles and missile systems, contributing to high-performance, resilient mechanical systems designed for complex, contested environments. The role offers exposure to advanced aerospace engineering practices and the opportunity to impact next-generation military capabilities. Required: Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience, 5+ years in aerospace or related industry, strong communication and teamwork skills, and eligibility for U.S. TS clearance. Preferred: Siemens NX proficiency, TOP SECRET DoD clearance, and UAV design experience.
