Salary: USD 129,000 - 171,000 / annual

Anduril Industries is seeking a Mass Properties Engineer to join the Air Dominance and Strike Mechanical Engineering Team. This role focuses on developing and managing mass properties data (weight, center of gravity, and inertia) for advanced Group 5 air vehicles and missile platforms throughout their design lifecycle. Key responsibilities include: - Develop, track, and maintain mass properties data across all air vehicle design phases - Define mass properties-related design requirements and participate in design trade studies - Support vehicle and subsystem-level weight and balance control efforts - Estimate, calculate, measure, and verify weight, balance, and inertia for components, assemblies, and completed vehicles - Develop and maintain mass properties accounting systems and generate technical reports - Author Weights and Balance Manuals - Contribute to process and tool development initiatives The successful candidate will work on cutting-edge autonomous air vehicle platforms powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system. You'll be part of a team responsible for the full development lifecycle from concept through integration and flight test, ensuring high-performance, resilient mechanical systems for contested environments. Required qualifications include a B.S. or M.E. (or equivalent), 5+ years of aerospace or related industry experience, excellent communication and team skills, and eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance. Preferred qualifications include Siemens NX proficiency and UAV design experience.
