You'll be a hands-on MarTech/Growth Engineer sitting at the intersection of Marketing, Engineering, Data, Product, and Operations. This role focuses on using technology to solve growth problems and owning the technical infrastructure powering customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own and evolve the growth tech stack, including platforms for acquisition, attribution, lifecycle marketing, analytics, and experimentation
- Design and maintain data pipelines moving customer data, identities, audiences, events, and conversions across the data and marketing ecosystem
- Automate growth operations by eliminating manual workflows across marketing, reporting, campaign operations, QA, and experimentation
- Build AI-native marketing capabilities, embedding AI agents and tools for campaign creation, launch, optimization, and iteration
- Own attribution and measurement across Meta, Google, TikTok, AppsFlyer, web, and mobile (pixels, SDKs, server-side events, UTMs, deep links)
- Enable lifecycle and experimentation infrastructure for sophisticated programs and rapid testing
- Prototype growth ideas through landing pages, internal tools, scripts, and lightweight product experiences
- Diagnose funnels, measure experiments, and identify growth opportunities using analytics
- Continuously evaluate emerging AI, MarTech, advertising, and developer tools
You'll be a builder comfortable writing code, working with APIs, querying data, and shipping solutions independently. You understand growth fundamentals (acquisition, conversion, retention, lifecycle marketing, experimentation, attribution, ROI) and can navigate unfamiliar systems to understand how pieces connect. You automate repetitive work, move quickly between prototype and production-grade solutions, and translate business problems into technical solutions across cross-functional teams.
Within your first year, success means Marketing moves faster with less dependency on traditional engineering, growth data is more trustworthy, attribution is more reliable, experiments launch more easily, lifecycle marketing is more sophisticated, and operational work is increasingly handled by software and AI.
The company expects in-office presence five days per week to foster collaboration and culture, though flexibility is available when circumstances require.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 6+ years in growth engineering, MarTech engineering, data engineering, software engineering, or similarly technical role
- Strong TypeScript or Python and SQL skills
- Experience building with APIs, webhooks, SDKs, and event-driven systems
- Hands-on experience with modern MarTech/data platforms (Segment, Hightouch, Braze, Amplitude, AppsFlyer, Snowflake, GA4/GTM, Meta CAPI, Google Ads, TikTok Events API)
- Understanding of event instrumentation, identity, attribution, conversion tracking, experimentation, and data quality
- Experience using LLMs, agents, AI coding tools, or workflow automation to build real-world solutions
- Ability to take ambiguous problems from idea through solution, implementation, and measurement
BONUS:
- Experience in high-growth consumer business with significant paid acquisition spend
- FinTech or highly regulated industry experience
- Experimentation platforms, feature flags, or personalization systems experience
- Internal tools or data products built for Marketing/Growth teams
- Privacy and consent requirements knowledge and impact on advertising, analytics, and customer data infrastructure
