Neighbor is building a hyperlocal marketplace for self-storage and parking spaces, operating across all 50 US states and backed by top-tier investors including Andreessen Horowitz and CEOs from DoorDash, StockX, and Uber.
As a Marketplace Growth Associate, you'll drive supply-side growth by working directly with hosts—commercial and residential property owners listing storage and parking spaces. Your primary focus (50–75% of time) is outbound phone calls with hosts to strengthen their listings and maximize their earning potential. You'll help hosts optimize their Google Maps pins, refine photos and descriptions, set competitive pricing, and build reviews. The remaining time involves operations work: managing the signage program, tracking performance metrics, and identifying process improvements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Scheduling and conducting dozens of daily calls with hosts to create and optimize Google Maps pins
- Improving pin quality over time through better photography, descriptions, and review requests
- Pitching and distributing Neighbor signage to interested hosts, then tracking performance
- Coaching high-potential hosts on pricing strategy, photography, reviews, and listing clarity
- Building and maintaining strong host relationships to keep them active and growing on the platform
- Identifying bottlenecks in growth programs and proposing solutions

REQUIREMENTS:
Required:
- 1+ years of work experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Proven ability to communicate professionally and personably with customers, especially over the phone
- Ability to follow processes while identifying improvements
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage high-volume work with minimal oversight
Preferred:
- Experience in high-volume phone roles (customer service, inside sales, SDR, or similar)
- Interest in local SEO, marketplaces, or marketing
- Experience building AI workflows
- Comfort with fast-moving startup pace and drive to expand your role
