LEAP is a leading legal practice management software provider serving over 71,000 lawyers and staff across small and medium-sized law firms globally. Part of ATI, one of the largest international LegalTech companies, LEAP has been reimagining productivity tools for legal professionals for over 30 years.
As Marketing Manager – Practice Areas, you will lead strategy and own marketing for LEAP Australia's six practice areas of law. This is a growing priority for the business, and you'll build practice area marketing into a key differentiator. Your core responsibilities include:
**Go-to-Market & Launches:** Run go-to-market campaigns for new apps and feature releases across practice areas, including launch planning, messaging, content coordination, and cross-team execution. Launches follow rolling release cycles, so you'll prioritize across a calendar rather than running simultaneous launches.
**Positioning & Messaging:** Work with practice area teams to develop clear positioning and messaging. Own the ideal customer profile (ICP) for each practice area by practice type and buyer, ensuring messaging reflects how practitioners actually think and work.
**Content & Visual Identity:** Produce credible, specialist content including blog posts, practice guides, case notes, thought leadership, and explainers. Partner with the Visual Designer – Practice Areas to ensure each practice area has a distinct, cohesive identity and campaign assets aligned to messaging.
**Events, Conferences & Podcasts:** Build a program of CPD events, webinars, and practice area events that provide genuine professional value and drive adoption. Lead LEAP's presence at industry conferences and help launch and grow a practice area podcast featuring practice leads and respected practitioners.
**Social & Sales Enablement:** Convert launches, content, podcasts, and events into social activity reaching the right practitioners. Create one-pagers, explainers, and case studies for sales and client-facing teams.
**Measurement & Optimization:** Measure impact across launches, content engagement, event attendance, podcast listenership, social reach, and product adoption. Use insights to refine strategy and prioritize high-impact areas. Leverage AI in your workflow for research, drafting, and content production.
**Broader Team Contribution:** Support brand, campaign, and lifecycle work across the AU marketing team, bringing a practice area perspective to LEAP's market positioning.
You'll report to the AU Marketing Lead, work closely with practice area teams and practising lawyers leading each area, and partner daily with the Visual Designer. As the function is still young, you'll start hands-on across strategy, positioning, writing, events, podcasts, and launches. As practice area marketing proves its value, the role and team will grow, and you'll help shape structure, people, and direction.
Your content will live on LEAP's website (built on Storyblok headless CMS) and reach practitioners through Salesforce and Pardot campaigns. An early framework and process are already in place, so you won't start from scratch.
**Requirements:**
- 7+ years in product marketing, content marketing, or broader B2B marketing at a tech or SaaS company, with experience owning a product, segment, or audience end-to-end
- Track record of taking products or features to market, including launch planning, positioning, messaging, and cross-team coordination
- Strong writing skills and ability to learn markets quickly, writing in their language to resonate with specific professional audiences (understanding that solicitors read differently from generic business buyers)
- Breadth across content, podcasts, events, social, email, and campaigns, with judgment to select the right channel for each objective
- Experience briefing and collaborating with designers, product owners, developers, and senior stakeholders/subject-matter experts
- Experience setting marketing strategy and mentoring others, with credibility to step up as the function scales
**Nice-to-have:**
- Experience in legal tech or other regulated/professional-services markets
- Experience producing podcasts or running CPD-accredited programs for professional audiences
- Familiarity with Storyblok CMS or marketing automation platforms like Salesforce/Pardot
