Outset is an AI-powered user research platform used by global brands like HubSpot, Microsoft, Uber, and Nestle to conduct qualitative research at scale. The company recently raised a $30M Series B (December 2025) and is experiencing 8x business growth as enterprises adopt AI-moderated research as a new standard.
You will be Outset's first marketing hire in EMEA, building the region's marketing presence from the ground up. This is a hands-on individual contributor role where you own regional strategy and execution across field marketing, tradeshows, and community programs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute an EMEA marketing plan in partnership with the regional Sales team, prioritizing markets, audiences, and programs that generate awareness, qualified pipeline, and deal acceleration.
- Own tradeshow strategy end-to-end: event selection, sponsorship negotiation, booth design, speaker placement, promotion, and follow-up.
- Create Outset-hosted experiences (executive dinners, research roundtables, customer gatherings, community meetups) that build relationships with researchers, insights leaders, and industry communities.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders—customers, prospects, researchers, and regional partners—turning them into collaboration and advocacy opportunities.
- Develop creative activations that differentiate Outset and generate interest.
- Collaborate with the US-based marketing team to adapt campaigns, content, and materials for regional relevance and extend local program reach.
- Manage regional program budgets, vendors, timelines, and logistics with disciplined prioritization.
- Measure program performance across target-account engagement, qualified meetings, pipeline creation/influence, and cost efficiency.
- Feed local customer and prospect insights back to the broader marketing team to inform messaging and strategy.
The role begins remotely but may transition to 4 days per week onsite in London.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of B2B marketing experience with a strong track record in field marketing, events, or community programs in EMEA.
- Proven experience owning tradeshows and hosted events from concept through execution and follow-up, with documented pipeline impact.
- Strong relationship-building instincts and ability to convene people around meaningful conversations and experiences.
- Excellent project management skills: budget ownership, vendor management, and multi-program execution with attention to detail.
- Strong writing and communication skills with the ability to adapt messaging for different markets and audiences.
- Proficiency with CRM (HubSpot) and marketing tools for campaign management, results tracking, and performance improvement.
- Experience in fast-paced startups or similarly resourceful environments, with independence to build from scratch and cross-functional collaboration skills across regions and time zones.
- Willingness to travel regularly for events, customer programs, and team collaboration across EMEA.
Nice to have:
- Experience as the first regional marketer or helping a US-based company establish EMEA marketing presence.
- Experience marketing to enterprise researchers, insights teams, designers, or product leaders.
- Existing network within the EMEA research and insights community.
