bunch is building the operating infrastructure for private markets, combining AI-powered automation with deep regulatory expertise to replace fragmented processes with an integrated platform. The company has 4x'd ARR in 2025, crossed 150 fund managers and 12,000 LPs, and closed a $35M Series B in May 2026.
As Marketing Lead, you will turn marketing into a reliable source of qualified pipeline across the UK, Luxembourg, and Germany, reporting directly to the Co-Founder. You own the marketing plan, budget, and team, with primary responsibility for pipeline contribution measured in euros rather than vanity metrics.
Key responsibilities include:
**Pipeline & Strategy**: Set marketing's pipeline target by market with the CEO and own the result. Define and run the marketing plan and budget for each market, deciding which programmes to scale and which to stop. Grow presence beyond the current client base and build positioning with larger fund managers.
**Content & Credibility**: Establish a weekly publishing cadence built on operational deep dives, migration guides, capital-call guides, and case studies with named clients. Orchestrate co-publications and webinars with trusted institutions and voices. Position bunch as the source the market and journalists call about European private markets operations.
**Field & Events**: Produce an in-house events programme for fund CFOs and COOs (who rarely attend investor events), structured as a ladder: 10-person series per market, seller-owned events, partner events with law firms/auditors/banks, and eventually larger flagship formats and a bunch conference.
**Growth & Digital**: Work with the Growth Marketing Manager and sales ops/data team on digital channels, pooled audiences, and HubSpot attribution to turn attention into qualified pipeline.
**Positioning & Product Marketing**: Own positioning and messaging by tier, release go-to-market, and sales enablement (one-pagers, battlecards, demo narratives). Become an expert in the product by sitting with client onboarding and fund specialists. Product owns the roadmap; you own how the market hears about it.
**Sales Collaboration**: Run marketing surround on named target accounts in HubSpot and hand engagement signals to sales so their next touch lands warm. Bring market insight back to the commercial team via a weekly market brief. Sellers own their accounts; marketing never emails a prospect one-to-one.
**Function Building**: Set up the marketing scoreboard (attribution, shared definitions of MQL/SQL, sourced vs influenced pipeline, reporting) with sales ops and data team. Lead and grow the team: currently a Growth Marketing Manager, a writer on retainer, and an events coordinator as the series scales; manage agencies and freelancers.
The buyers are GPs, CFOs, COOs, and fund operations teams at VC and PE managers. Trust in this market comes from expertise, references, and institutions they already rely on. The founders set the company narrative; you build the engine that carries it to market.
**Requirements**:
- 5+ years total experience, including 2+ in growth or marketing at a B2B scale-up selling to expert or regulated buyers (fintech, financial services, legal, insurance)
- Demonstrated experience building a marketing function or content programme from near zero: hired for it, set its budget, chose its agencies, and it kept running when you stepped back (consulting or GTM-practice years count; private markets experience is a plus)
- Built or run attribution and steered on pipeline in euros (not MQL counts), with measurable pipeline movement to show
- Hands-on in HubSpot; able to build your own workflows and agents (automations, LLM pipelines for content and signals), not just prompts
- Player-coach mentality: ship before you delegate, turn subject-matter experts into a publishing engine, learn a market by sitting in sales calls and reading what buyers read
- Strategic discipline: cut what you can't measure, automate prep but never relationship touches, understand that sellers own their accounts
- Full professional English; German is a plus
- Comfortable spending regular time in the UK, Luxembourg, and Germany
