Salary: USD 150,000 - 168,000 / annual

OpenGov is seeking a Market Strategy & Pricing Manager to build and lead the company's pricing motion and apply quantitative approaches to inform market strategy. This role partners with executive stakeholders across Product, Finance, and Go-To-Market functions to define TAM/SAM, build detailed models of the market and competitive landscape, and price products competitively. Key responsibilities include leading strategic analyses that inform product development, partnerships, and M&A decisions; partnering with Product and Product Marketing to price new and existing products; directing market diligence to size opportunities and assess product-market fit; integrating TAM/SAM models and pricing insights into product planning; and presenting findings to leadership teams with clear, actionable recommendations. The ideal candidate is a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment, with 6-8 years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, competitive intelligence, or pricing/market strategy roles, ideally in B2B SaaS or enterprise software. Required skills include financial modeling, quantitative analysis, forecasting, SQL, and statistical programming (Python/R). Experience supporting M&A processes, leading pricing strategy initiatives, and using AI tools for research and analysis is essential. Strong communication skills and ability to influence cross-functionally are critical.
