Lendbuzz is seeking an experienced Market Development Manager to lead regional growth in Pennsylvania's automotive lending market. This is a people-leadership role focused on building and scaling a high-performing field sales team while expanding dealership partnerships and driving market share growth.
You will own territory expansion strategy, identifying sub-markets and high-opportunity dealership partners. You'll hire, mentor, and develop a team of Dealership Account Managers, fostering a performance-driven culture centered on accountability and partnership excellence. As a senior relationship builder, you'll provide consultative support to key dealership partners and model best-in-class selling behavior in the field.
Key responsibilities include driving field production against volume and quality targets, translating field insights into competitive strategy, and collaborating across underwriting, credit, and internal sales teams to ensure seamless execution. You'll create market intelligence by analyzing volume trends, identifying opportunity gaps, and providing feedback to senior leadership to shape local playbooks.
This role requires a hands-on leadership style—you'll coach in the field, not from behind a desk. You must be comfortable with frequent in-person dealership visits, a six-day work week, and regional travel. Residence within or near Pennsylvania is required.
Success is measured by building a high-performing, accountable field team with strong retention; developing scalable, high-intent dealership partnerships; growing regional market share and contract volume; and establishing a coaching culture rooted in visibility and consistency.
