Anduril Industries is seeking a Manufacturing Test Engineer to join the Intelligence Systems team, which develops specialized engineering and products for Intelligence Community customers. This role is critical to ensuring that advanced defense systems meet stringent quality standards before delivery to national security customers. You will own test activities across the manufacturing value stream, from system-level checkouts and acceptance testing to component-level in-process validation. Your responsibilities include maintaining test capabilities, improving automation and consistency, troubleshooting complex electrical issues, and developing test work instructions for technician teams. You'll analyze test data to identify defects, determine root causes of product failures, and recommend corrective actions in collaboration with Design, Quality, and Manufacturing Engineering teams. Key activities include: maintaining test flow and production throughput; improving existing test systems for automation and cycle time reduction; generating clear work instructions and training technicians; building failure mode libraries with troubleshooting guides; supporting customer returns and failure analysis; contributing to early-stage test design for new products; optimizing test strategies for efficiency; and maintaining/calibrating test equipment. Required: Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics, Computer, or Mechanical Engineering; 5+ years in manufacturing test and product sustainment; proficiency with Linux, Ubuntu, LabVIEW, and NixOS; hands-on experience with PCBA testing and electronics test equipment (oscilloscopes, power supplies, spectrum analyzers, etc.); strong root cause analysis skills; familiarity with PLM, MES, and TES systems; experience integrating electrical, mechanical, and software systems; and an active U.S. Secret security clearance. Preferred: 8+ years of experience; Master's degree in related field; Python/MATLAB skills; test automation and PCBA design experience; knowledge of computer hardware protocols (USB, Ethernet, RS232, PCIe, HDMI, CAN); and ESS testing experience (thermal, vibration).
