Anduril Industries is seeking a Manufacturing Test Engineer to ensure rigorous testing and quality assurance of advanced defense technology systems. You will own test activities across the manufacturing value stream, from system-level checkouts to component-level validation, maintaining production test flow and troubleshooting complex electrical issues. Key responsibilities include: - Maintain and improve test capabilities and automation across manufacturing, focusing on consistency, cycle time reduction, and test coverage - Generate clear test work instructions for technician teams and provide training on equipment use - Develop failure mode libraries and troubleshooting guides to accelerate issue resolution - Perform root cause and corrective action analysis (RCCA) on product failures - Collaborate with Design, Quality, and Manufacturing Engineering teams on customer returns and failure analysis - Contribute feedback to early-stage test design for new products (NPI) - Analyze test data, document results, and provide detailed reports identifying defects and improvement opportunities - Work with design engineers to recommend product enhancements based on test outcomes - Optimize test strategies for efficiency without compromising quality - Maintain and calibrate test equipment for precision and reliability - Support continuous improvement initiatives Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics, Computer, or Mechanical Engineering (or related field); 5+ years of manufacturing test and product sustainment experience; proficiency with Linux, Ubuntu, LabVIEW, and NixOS; hands-on experience with PCBA/electronic assembly testing and PCBA testing standards; familiarity with electronics test equipment (power supplies, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, data acquisition); strong root cause analysis skills; experience with PLM systems, MES, and TES; ability to work on integrated electrical, mechanical, and software/firmware systems; eligible to obtain and maintain U.S. Secret security clearance. Preferred: 7+ years relevant experience; pursuing Master's in EE/ME/CS or related field; Python/MATLAB proficiency; test automation and design experience; knowledge of communication protocols (USB, Ethernet, RS232, CAN, etc.); ESS testing experience (thermal, vibration); active security clearance.
