Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, is seeking a Manufacturing Test and Quality Engineer to join the Voyager team in Dublin. The Voyager team specializes in developing innovative computing and communications solutions for the network edge, integrating enterprise networking capabilities with purpose-built hardware and software platforms designed for stringent environmental requirements. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that systems are tested to the highest standards and consistently shipped with exceptional quality to customers. You will also ensure production meets required throughput targets. The position requires creative problem-solving to address difficult testing challenges and drive continuous improvement in automation methods, throughput optimization, user interfaces, and data analytics. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining advanced LabVIEW applications for production testing, interfacing LabVIEW with SQL and Linux databases for data storage and retrieval, and configuring Linux-based servers for hardware test applications. You will work with serial communication protocols, collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software and hardware test solutions into medium-volume production environments, and provide technical support for LabVIEW, SQL, Linux, and electronics issues. Additional duties include advanced Python programming for automation and scripting, microcontroller programming, supporting customer returns and failure analysis with Design and Manufacturing teams, and contributing feedback to early-stage test design for new products. You will analyze test data, document results, and provide detailed reports identifying defects and improvement areas. Collaboration with design engineers to provide feedback on product enhancements based on test outcomes is essential, as is optimizing test strategies for efficiency while maintaining quality standards. Required qualifications include a minimum Level 6 qualification in Computer Science or Electronics Engineering (or equivalent experience), 5+ years of proven LabVIEW development experience, in-depth knowledge of high-speed serial communication protocols, extensive Linux system administration experience, and microcontroller programming background. Production test fixture commissioning experience is required. Advantageous skills include electronics background, CISCO router/switch experience, GIT version control, AWS services (RDS, EC2), and familiarity with PLM systems, MES, and TES platforms. Strong SQL database management, Python automation, problem-solving, analytical skills, and the ability to perform SPC analysis and GR&R studies are essential.
