Salary: USD 166,000 - 220,000 / annual

The company develops Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that integrates thousands of data streams into real-time 3D command and control centers, bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking to military systems. As a Manufacturing Software Engineer in the Manufacturing Test organization, you will develop and maintain test executive software that systematically validates products across land, sea, and air platforms. Your primary focus will be building automation tools and analytics systems to improve the development cycle, reduce operator time, and simplify instruction complexity through parallel execution, data acquisition, and automated deployment. Key responsibilities include: - Develop applications for Windows and Linux desktop environments - Integrate cloud data and deployment features while maintaining security and user authentication - Create automation scripts in Python for debug and prototype development - Triage issues, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate resolution - Partner with end-users to translate requirements into features while balancing UX with engineering constraints - Work on multiplatform problems with heavy reliance on cloud data systems You will tackle complex technical challenges requiring creative problem-solving and continuous improvement of automation methods, throughput, user interfaces, and data analytics. The role involves close collaboration with electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers on multi-disciplinary projects. Required: Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field, 4+ years relevant industry experience, and eligibility to obtain and maintain U.S. Secret security clearance. Preferred: 8+ years experience, Python expertise, low-level code and device driver development, CI/CD and DevOps automation, manufacturing/industrial software background, device communication protocols (USB, SPI, I2C, CAN, RS232, RS485, Ethernet), WPF/C# desktop development, embedded systems, automated testing, AWS/Azure infrastructure, relational databases (DB2, SQL Server) or NoSQL, and existing Secret clearance.
