Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, is seeking a Manufacturing Security Site Lead to oversee daily security operations at a large-scale manufacturing facility near Columbus, Ohio. Reporting to the Security Operations Manager of Manufacturing Security, you will be responsible for shift-level security oversight, physical security systems management, and incident response at a rapidly growing, high-production industrial site.
Key responsibilities include: overseeing day-to-day security operations during assigned shifts, ensuring contracted guard post coverage meets company standards through regular spot checks and audits, and leading immediate response to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies. You will conduct after-action reviews on major incidents, perform preliminary investigations, document findings, and escalate to leadership while recommending process improvements to minimize manufacturing downtime.
You will establish and maintain active relationships with local emergency services (police, fire, medical) to ensure coordinated incident management. Real-time operational reporting is critical—maintaining comprehensive daily shift logs documenting all activities, incidents, visitor volumes, and anomalies, with detailed summaries provided to the Manufacturing Operations Manager.
Additional duties include supporting access control operations during peak hours and visitor arrivals, enforcing parking and pedestrian flow protocols, overseeing secure shipping and receiving of sensitive materials and finished goods, and ensuring effective operation of all physical security technologies including CCTV, access control systems, intrusion detection, and alarm systems. You will collaborate with the Manufacturing Security Operations Manager to build and implement physical security procedures aligned with company standards and regulatory requirements, and work closely with the on-premise Manufacturing Security Operations Center (MSOC) and Strategic Security Services team.
This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless security continuity and high-standard operations that scale with business growth, serving as the primary real-time communication link between security operations and manufacturing leadership.
