The Sentry team builds cutting-edge defense hardware including static and mobile ground equipment for force protection and counter-UAS applications.
In this role, you will own the manufacturing value chain for complex electromechanical products, from prototype to high-volume production. Key responsibilities include:
• Leverage NPI expertise to transition products from prototype to production, optimizing design for manufacturability, assembly, and supply chain scalability
• Design and implement efficient manufacturing processes, owning portions or all of the manufacturing value chain for high-complexity products
• Lead and coordinate projects to install new manufacturing systems, communicating progress to stakeholders
• Develop process flows for large, complex assemblies, breaking them into logical sub-assemblies and sub-processes
• Create manufacturing documentation including work instructions, quality plans, and inspection requirements
• Collaborate with contract manufacturers (PCBA fab, metallic manufacturing, assembly) to develop repeatable processes for quick-turn and at-scale production
• Travel to suppliers for sourcing, troubleshooting production issues, and implementing quality procedures
• Contribute to hardware mechanical and electrical design, including interconnects and board fabrication
• Work cross-functionally with Quality Assurance, Design Engineering, technicians, and program managers on quality standards, DFM, and troubleshooting
