Anduril Industries is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join the Connected Warfare team at Arsenal-1, a hyperscale manufacturing facility in Ashville, Ohio. This role is central to industrializing critical autonomous systems and command-and-control products for U.S. and allied military forces.
You will own the complete manufacturing value chain, from prototype through high-volume production. Key responsibilities include:
• Driving Design for Manufacturability (DFM) feedback into the design process and facilitating transitions from design through prototype to rate production
• Owning manufacturing documentation including MBOMs, work instructions, and process flows
• Designing and optimizing tooling and high-rate production lines
• Acting as manufacturing liaison for mechanical fabrication and avionics with deep expertise in design for manufacturability
• Developing production and test methodologies to enable scaling of complex products
• Collaborating with design engineers, manufacturing planning teams, and internal customers on capacity planning and delivery
• Advising on quality management and business application programs
• Analyzing metrics for continuous improvement (cost reduction, quality improvement, capacity increase)
• Traveling to suppliers and partner sites for sourcing, problem-solving, and process implementation
• Fostering a culture of innovation, teamwork, and accountability
Required qualifications include a degree in a technical field (engineering, math, or hard science preferred), 3+ years of experience in manufacturing or electromechanical hardware design, demonstrated ability to deliver hardware in resource-constrained environments, and world-class attention to detail and mission assurance. You must be flexible, prepared for extended hours when needed, and able to travel regularly between locations. U.S. Secret Clearance eligibility is required.
Note: This role requires relocation to Costa Mesa, CA for a 3-month training program with the world-class manufacturing team at Anduril HQ. Housing and transportation are provided during training.
