Anduril Industries is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join the Connected Warfare team, which focuses on modernizing command and control systems for U.S. and Allied forces. This role offers ownership of production ramps for advanced defense systems including Menace-I, Menace-X, Menace-T, and TITAN platforms. You will own the complete manufacturing lifecycle from initial prototyping through full-scale production. Key responsibilities include executing manufacturing processes, collaborating with design engineers to implement design-for-manufacturing best practices, and facilitating transitions from design through prototype to rate production. You will serve as a subject matter expert to floor technicians, solving complex build problems spanning mechanical fitment, electrical/harnessing, and software/firmware integration. Documentation ownership is critical—you will create and maintain manufacturing BOMs, work instructions, process flows, floor plans, time studies, and capacity analyses. You will collaborate with internal customers and manufacturing planning teams on capacity planning to meet customer demand, work with production teams to solve complex issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost reduction, quality improvement, and capacity increases. Travel to suppliers and partner sites is required for initial sourcing, ongoing production problem-solving, and process implementation. The role emphasizes innovation, teamwork, and accountability within the manufacturing engineering product team. Required: Bachelor's degree in engineering, math, or hard science; 5+ years manufacturing or similar experience; hands-on hardware manufacturing experience (machining, fabrication, soldering, assembly); ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Top Secret security clearance; demonstrated mission assurance, quality focus, and creative problem-solving in resource-constrained environments. Preferred: Experience building production operations from scratch; harness/PCBA fabrication or mechanical system design expertise; complex BOM ownership; knowledge of sheet metal, machining, and 3D printing processes; NX/Teamcenter experience.
