Salary: USD 99,000 - 167,000 / annual

Relay Therapeutics seeks a Manager of Clinical Supply Chain to oversee supply chain operations for clinical trials, with responsibility for investigational medicinal products (IMPs) and comparators. This role ensures study sites receive necessary products on time while maintaining full regulatory compliance. Key responsibilities include: monitoring investigational product inventory levels at depots and clinical trial sites to proactively manage supply chain risks; coordinating import, export, and transportation of clinical trial materials with adherence to regulatory requirements; tracking shipments to ensure timely delivery and quality standards; supporting development and approval of label text, translations, and final label design; overseeing packaging and labeling processes at clinical supply vendors and reviewing batch records; ensuring proper storage conditions and reviewing temperature excursions; maintaining audit-ready documentation for cGMP and FDA/EU compliance; tracking expenses against purchase orders and vendor quotes; facilitating cross-functional communication with Clinical Operations, Regulatory, Quality, and external stakeholders; managing interactions with clinical trial sites regarding product return and destruction; and supporting User Acceptance Testing for IRT systems. Required qualifications: BS/BA in operations, life sciences, or health-related field; minimum 3 years pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry experience with focus on clinical supply chain or clinical trial material management; experience with primary and secondary packaging and labeling for investigational products; knowledge of distribution, recall processes, and regulatory requirements for clinical trial materials; strong understanding of cGMPs, FDA, and EU regulations; experience managing CMO contracts and vendor relationships; detail-oriented with focus on process optimization and compliance; excellent written and verbal communication; strong interpersonal skills for interaction with senior management, vendors, and clinical sites; ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing deadlines in fast-paced environment. Preferred: previous clinical supply chain roles in biotech/pharma; familiarity with IRT or clinical trial management systems.
