Salary: USD 120,000 - 140,000 / annual
Adswerve, an award-winning data, media, and tech consultancy and leading Google and Adobe partner, is seeking a Manager of Technical Services to lead a global team of Data Engineers and Data Scientists. This role combines hands-on technical leadership with strategic people management in a fast-growing consulting organization.
You will manage a diverse team of implementation engineers, data engineers, and data scientists, providing mentorship, performance reviews, and career development. Key responsibilities include fostering a culture of "Technical Evangelism" where team members translate complex technical architectures into business-focused strategies for executive stakeholders. You'll bridge technical and commercial functions by collaborating with Sales and Account Management to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities while ensuring clients receive exceptional service.
Operationally, you'll own resource allocation across a portfolio of projects, matching talent to high-impact initiatives and monitoring team capacity against pipeline to support year-over-year growth. You'll audit delivery processes to identify automation and innovation opportunities, develop internal efficiencies, and guide the team in implementing best practices. You'll set clear performance expectations, provide ongoing coaching and feedback, and foster a supportive, engaged team culture.
The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in professional services or technical consulting, with 1–3 years in a leadership or management role. You should have proven success coaching experienced technical resources, exceptional communication skills across executive and IC levels, strong presentation abilities, and a collaborative mindset. A college degree in Technical Management or equivalent leadership experience is preferred.
