You will lead a team of Enterprise Technical Account Managers responsible for everything post-sale: onboarding, adoption, customer health, and deep technical partnerships. Your team owns ensuring there is never a product reason for customers to leave. You'll inherit a strong team and a customer base that loves the product, with existing blueprints for segmentation, health scoring, and playbooks already drafted. Your mission is to operationalize these systems into a retention engine that runs without heroics. Key responsibilities include: - Lead, coach, and grow a team of Enterprise TAMs, hiring ahead of need as the company scales - Own adoption, customer health, and gross retention outcomes across the customer base, partnering with Account Executives on enterprise renewals - Mature the post-sales operating system by operationalizing segmentation, health scoring, and lifecycle playbooks; ensure QBRs tell data-driven stories rather than vanity metrics - Serve as the senior escalation point for at-risk accounts; run deep dives, build save plans, and see them through - Set performance and career growth standards for your team and hold them accountable - Drive efficiency gains each quarter through automation, playbooks, and one-to-many programs - Feed technical field intelligence back to Product and Engineering so customer patterns reach the roadmap - Report retention, adoption, and team health metrics to leadership with confidence - Step in as an individual contributor to support team needs, cover gaps, or lead by example when capacity is stretched The role requires executive presence with CISOs and VPs of Engineering, willingness to travel for customer and company meetings, and the ability to manage complex stakeholder requirements in high-stakes technical environments. Requirements: - 4+ years directly managing post-sales teams (TAM, Solution Engineering, or related); must have hired, developed, and performance-managed individual contributors - 6+ years total in pre- or post-sales roles (TAM, Solutions, or Services) in B2B SaaS - Proven ownership of GRR, NRR, or adoption targets with ability to articulate the numbers, misses, and corrective actions - Background in security, developer tools, or adjacent technical products; must understand the SDLC and how developers and security teams operate - Experience as escalation owner on at-risk enterprise accounts with documented save stories - Track record building, operationalizing, or improving core post-sales systems: segmentation, playbooks, health scoring, QBR frameworks - Executive presence with CISOs, VPs of Engineering, and company leadership - Willingness to travel for customer and company meetings - Demonstrated success supporting and scaling relationships with large-scale enterprise customers managing complex stakeholder requirements Preferred qualifications: - Domain experience in software supply chain security, AppSec, DevSecOps, or open-source ecosystems - Experience scaling a post-sales function at a high-growth startup through rapid ARR and headcount growth - Experience managing TAM charters and keeping each motion distinct but coordinated - Hands-on experience with Vitally or similar CS platforms and scaled/digital-touch programs Tools: Slack, GitHub, Zendesk, Vitally, HubSpot, Grafana
