Salary: USD 185,000 - 317,000 / annual
Figma is seeking a Manager of Tech & Ecosystem Partnerships to lead and scale the Product Partnerships team. Reporting to the Director of Product Partnerships, you will manage a team of 3-5 Partner Managers responsible for product-area portfolios and scaled partnership programs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead, coach, and develop Partner Managers; set clear expectations, provide actionable feedback, and support performance and career growth
- Translate organization-wide strategy into focused portfolio plans, resource allocation decisions, and measurable goals
- Enable Partner Managers to independently drive day-to-day partner strategy, execution, and decision-making while maintaining quality standards
- Oversee partner portfolio health and impact; help prioritize high-value opportunities and guide strategy, unblock workstreams, and manage escalations
- Build strong cross-functional relationships with Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, Research, Operations, Finance, and Legal to align partnership priorities with company goals
- Define and track portfolio-level success metrics; deliver business updates to leadership and stakeholders
- Serve as primary escalation point for high-leverage partner moments requiring leadership, negotiation support, or cross-functional alignment
- Help evolve the Product Partnerships organization by improving processes, clarifying roles and decision rights, and supporting hiring and onboarding
This is a full-time role based in one of Figma's US hubs (San Francisco or New York) or remote within the United States. The role combines people leadership with product judgment, operational rigor, and experience bringing complex technology partnerships to life.
Requirements:
- 12+ years of experience in partnerships with predominant focus in product partnerships or ecosystem partnerships
- 3+ years of direct people management experience with a track record of hiring, coaching, and developing high-performing teams
- Ability to define strategy, plan, prioritize, build cross-functional alignment, and execute efficiently on long-term, cross-functional projects
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills; ability to structure frameworks and lead complex, first-of-their-kind technical partnerships
- Technical depth; experience contributing to and influencing product strategy, roadmap, and execution; ability to analyze data and build insightful business recommendations
- Demonstrated ability to execute on short-term business needs while driving strategic decisions aligned with broader company and partnerships roadmap
Preferred qualifications:
- Proven ability to create and implement product partnership strategies in enterprise SaaS
- Track record of building partnership processes, programs, or teams during periods of rapid company or product growth
- Demonstrated success leading teams that manage both high-touch product partnerships and scaled ecosystem programs
