- Run regular business reviews and maintain multi-threaded relationships across customer organizations
- Proactively identify expansion opportunities across new datasets, business units, and use cases
- Build and maintain living account plans with clear growth theses, competitive analysis, and risk assessment
- Coordinate internal account teams across Product, Professional Services, and Legal
- Manage sales-to-implementation handoffs to ensure continuity
- Partner with technical teams to understand platform usage in R&D workflows (genomics, digital pathology, real-world data)
- Own portfolio status and relationship health tracking, surfacing risk early
You report to the VP, Strategic Account Management and work directly with senior customer stakeholders such as chief data officers and commercialization leads.
Requirements:
- 5+ years managing strategic account relationships with revenue or retention accountability, ideally selling to health systems or data providers in life sciences and healthcare
- Working understanding of multimodal data (genomic, imaging, clinical, real-world data) and its use in biopharma R&D
- Track record of owning both relationship health and commercial outcomes on accounts
- Strong listening and diagnostic skills to identify customer problems and mobilize internal resources
- Experience independently structuring and negotiating contract terms with Legal and Finance
- Excellent relationship management and executive-level communication skills
- Customer-first mindset with direct experience shaping solutions with customers or end users
- Advanced degree in life sciences, genomics, or related scientific/technical field, or comparable experience that earns credibility with PhD-level stakeholders
