You will lead a team of Solutions Engineers based in Seoul, focused on the South Korean market. This is a hands-on management role where you'll recruit, develop, and coach a regionally focused team while remaining deeply technical. You'll partner closely with the regional sales director and account teams to understand customer technical needs and drive maximum value from Wiz's cloud security solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Recruiting, retaining, developing, and coaching a team of Solutions Engineers with regional focus
- Building strong working relationships between Solutions Engineering and sales teams in South Korea
- Partnering with sales and product to drive operational excellence and efficiency
- Driving team accountability through Salesforce deal management
- Serving as a technical leader who remains hands-on with technology and customer engagements
- Acting as trusted advisor to customers on cloud security across AWS, Azure, and GCP
- Traveling 25-50% of the time
This role requires the legal right to work in South Korea without visa sponsorship.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum qualifications:
- Experience managing a team of Solutions Engineers in Korea
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Cloud security experience and background or experience in network engineering
- Knowledge of operating systems, virtual machines, containers, and risk-based security assessments or frameworks
Preferred qualifications:
- Technical SaaS selling experience
- Experience with traditional CSPM tools and/or cloud infrastructure security
- Awareness of CI/CD process and familiarity with Infrastructure as Code
- Understanding of cloud identity, access, certificates, and keys
