Antithesis is building a platform that redefines how modern distributed systems are tested and released. The company serves engineering teams who need rock-solid reliability, scalable performance, and deep technical visibility into their systems. You will lead a player-coach role managing a Solutions Engineering team based in the London HQ office, with additional team members across the APAC region. This is a hands-on management position where you'll combine people leadership with direct technical execution and presales work. Key responsibilities include: - Managing day-to-day team operations: onboarding, 1-on-1s, performance reviews, project assignments, and approvals - Driving recruiting efforts for the EMEA/APAC region in collaboration with corporate recruiters - Partnering with regional sales leadership on presales support and proof-of-concept (POC) execution - Collaborating with global GTM functions on marketing initiatives (conferences) and enablement (training, workshops) - Mentoring team members to develop their technical and communication skills - Serving as a technical backstop for customer engagements - Executing POCs and technical activities hands-on alongside the team You bring a strong technical foundation from previous roles, with experience in software testing, reliability, and distributed systems. You're comfortable with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), object-oriented programming, scripting languages (bash/shell, Python, JavaScript), and data querying (SQL, NoSQL). You have proven experience working with Account Executives, sales leaders, and other GTM functions. You lead from the front, taking on the toughest challenges yourself rather than delegating them. You're a great communicator, both written and verbal, with a genuine desire to mentor others and feel rewarded by their success. You thrive in tight timelines and high-pressure startup environments while remaining professional and flexible. The role requires some travel for client sites, conferences, and visits to Antithesis HQ.
