Salary: USD 258,000 - 376,000 / annual
Figma is seeking an experienced engineering manager to lead the Billing team, a full-stack engineering group responsible for automating revenue workflows and building end-to-end payment and billing capabilities. The team handles critical systems including checkout, invoicing, customer lifecycle management, pricing and packaging, metered billing, and subscription lifecycle management—all essential to Figma's growth and new product launches.
In this role, you will partner closely with Product, Design, Accounting, Data, Marketing, and GTM teams to build and execute a long-term roadmap for world-class billing experiences. You'll manage a team of engineers including staff-level engineers, providing mentorship, support, and career development. Your responsibilities include hiring and building the team, establishing accountability and positive work culture, solving complex cross-functional problems, and driving inclusive hiring and diversity initiatives.
You'll think strategically about both short and long-term engineering and product roadmaps, demonstrate rigorous decision-making in collaborative environments, and help shape how Figma's customers—from two-person teams to Fortune 500 companies—access and budget for Figma's offerings.
The role is full-time and can be based from Figma's US hubs (San Francisco or New York) or fully remote within the United States. Figma values continuous learning and encourages applications from candidates excited to grow, even if experience doesn't perfectly match the description.
