EarnIn is a fintech pioneer in earned wage access, enabling users to access their earnings in real-time without mandatory fees, interest rates, or credit checks. You will lead a full-stack engineering team comprising backend and mobile engineers, working on core services that power innovative products. This is a hands-on manager role where you'll partner closely with product, analytics, and cross-functional teams to drive business metrics improvements, user acquisition, and feature development.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading team design and implementation of new product areas and features, breaking down complex problems into elegant solutions
- Guiding the team through ambiguity and ensuring technical excellence via rapid experimentation
- Driving pragmatic execution: launching MVPs quickly, iterating on feedback, and navigating frequent pivots in a fast-changing environment
- Recruiting and mentoring engineers, supporting their career growth and enabling their best work
- Managing cross-functional relationships to deliver high-quality products
- Contributing hands-on to architecture, code quality, and solving challenging technical problems
You'll need 7+ years of software engineering experience with 2+ years managing a smaller team. The ideal candidate is equally energized by deep technical work and people leadership, comfortable with ambiguity, and has led teams delivering high-quality output on critical infrastructure. Preferred tech stack includes C#, .NET/.NET Core, Kotlin, Python, SQL, Databricks, AWS, REST APIs, microservices, distributed systems, Kafka, CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes. Experience with fintech, high-scale payments systems, and AI-assisted development tools is valued.
This is a hybrid role based in the Bengaluru office (2 days/week in-office). EarnIn offers healthcare, internet/cell phone reimbursement, learning and development stipends, and potential travel opportunities to the Mountain View headquarters.
