As Manager of Software Engineering, you will lead a team of software engineers with responsibility for delivery, quality, and team growth and development. The role balances people leadership with technical oversight, partnering closely with product and design teams to ship high-impact features.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading, developing, and growing a software engineering team through performance management and career development using the company's Engagement Review framework
- Owning the team's delivery, quality, and operational health while partnering with product and design on roadmap and priorities
- Providing technical oversight and guidance to ensure sound architecture, code quality, and adherence to engineering standards
- Building a high-performing engineering team that delivers reliable, high-quality product capabilities
This is a hands-on management role that requires both people leadership skills and technical credibility. You'll work in Los Angeles and be expected to balance strategic team development with day-to-day technical guidance.
