Delinea is a cloud-native identity security platform company seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead three core engineering teams: Inventory (system of record for customer asset data), Discovery (services that discover identities and infrastructure across cloud and on-premises), and Identity Graph (a new platform modeling relationships between identities, assets, and resources).
Reporting to the Director of Engineering, you will combine technical leadership with people management and strategic planning. Your responsibilities include leading and mentoring three Agile software engineering teams, owning the technical roadmap and delivery for all three services, and guiding the development of cloud-native microservices built with .NET 9, Azure Cosmos DB, and Elasticsearch. You will drive the design of scalable distributed systems and cloud services, collaborate with Product, Architecture, UX, and Engineering leadership on technical strategy, and promote the adoption of AI-driven development practices including GitHub Copilot and similar tools.
You will build a collaborative engineering culture focused on innovation, quality, and career development while establishing best practices for AI-first engineering.
Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; 5+ years managing Agile software engineering teams; 5+ years hands-on software development experience preferably with .NET/C# or similar backend technologies; strong experience designing distributed systems and cloud-native architectures; and experience building and operating scalable applications on Azure or AWS. You must have excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, plus experience launching new teams or products in ambiguous environments and hands-on experience with AI development tools.
Preferred qualifications include experience with Azure Cosmos DB and Elasticsearch, background in identity management or cybersecurity, knowledge of graph databases, experience scaling SaaS organizations, and experience establishing AI-first engineering practices.
