Delinea is seeking a hands-on Manager of Site Reliability Engineering to lead the SRE and DevOps team supporting the Delinea identity security platform. This is a working manager role where you will balance people leadership with deep technical involvement in production operations.
You will own the availability and performance of Delinea's production environments across Azure and AWS, including AKS workloads, networking, data services, messaging, and CDN/WAF layers. The initial scope covers the Platform SRE and DevOps team, with expected expansion to the FedRAMP High environment and broader commercial platform footprint over time.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead hands-on technical work: reviewing pull requests, validating pipeline changes, tuning monitors and dashboards, running queries in Datadog, and troubleshooting production issues alongside your engineers
- Manage a blended team of full-time SRE engineers and contractors distributed across multiple time zones
- Hire, onboard, coach, and develop engineers; direct and manage contractor resources
- Participate in on-call rotation and act as incident commander for Sev1 and Sev2 events
- Own incident response end-to-end: detection, triage, mitigation, customer communication, and post-incident review
- Improve observability and detection coverage; own SLI/SLO definition, alert quality, synthetic coverage, and APM instrumentation
- Support FedRAMP and regulated operations, growing expertise in government environment requirements
- Drive automation to reduce toil; prioritize automation backlog alongside project and reliability work
- Report on operational health and reliability metrics to leadership
The role requires comfort operating in regulated environments, willingness to grow scope, and ability to meet your distributed team inside their working hours. On-call participation is required.
