Kaseya, a leading provider of AI-powered IT management and cybersecurity software backed by Insight Partners, is seeking a Manager of Salesforce Engineering to lead its Salesforce development team in Medellin, Colombia.
In this role, you will provide technical leadership and people management for a Salesforce engineering team. You will mentor and develop engineering talent, oversee the planning and execution of Salesforce projects, and ensure delivery of high-quality, scalable solutions aligned with business objectives. Your responsibilities include fostering a collaborative, high-performing team environment; providing technical guidance across Salesforce development (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, integrations); developing Salesforce engineering strategies that support organizational growth; and partnering with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications.
You will establish and maintain engineering best practices including code reviews, testing standards, documentation, and quality assurance. You will monitor and optimize Salesforce platform performance, efficiency, scalability, and user experience. You will oversee Salesforce DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, source control, and deployment management. Additionally, you will stay current on Salesforce releases and platform capabilities, ensure compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements, and provide strategic recommendations on how Salesforce capabilities can improve business processes and operational efficiency.

**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in Salesforce engineering or development
- 2+ years of experience in a Salesforce development leadership or management role
- Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, Salesforce integrations, and data migration
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and products (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Salesforce CPQ)
- Experience developing and managing Salesforce integrations using APIs, middleware, and related technologies
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control tools (Git, Jenkins, Gearset)
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools
- Strong leadership and team management skills with ability to motivate, mentor, and develop talent
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with proactive approach to solutions
- Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining high standards for technical quality and delivery
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Relevant Salesforce certifications: Platform Developer I, CPQ, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Platform Developer II, JavaScript Developer I, Experience Cloud
- Experience with data migration and ETL tools
