Pomelo Care is a virtual medical practice specializing in women's and children's health, offering care across pregnancy, postpartum, pediatrics, menopause, and perimenopause. The company combines 24/7 clinical care with technology to identify risks early and deliver personalized care.
As Manager of Provider Network Operations, you will build and scale the clinical network supporting Pomelo's Midlife line of business. You'll partner with Recruiting, Licensing & Credentialing, Product, and Clinical Leadership to establish processes and infrastructure that support provider growth, utilization, retention, and quality as volume scales.
Key responsibilities include:
- Setting and reporting on network capacity targets; identifying and closing gaps before they impact patient access
- Partnering with Recruiting, Licensing & Credentialing, and Learning teams to streamline onboarding timelines as volume grows
- Owning the end-to-end provider relationship, including orientation, utilization tracking, and retention
- Defining and tracking provider utilization metrics; translating insights into process and product improvements
- Building and running programs (incentives, community initiatives) to keep clinicians actively engaged
- Collaborating with Quality teams to define standards and translate clinical quality expectations into network participation criteria
- Monitoring provider-level quality data (utilization, patient outcomes, complaints) and driving action on outliers with Clinical leadership
- Supporting quality-based remediation and contract termination decisions aligned with compliance standards
- Serving as connective tissue across Licensing, Credentialing, Quality, Clinical Ops, and Product teams
- Building reporting dashboards to provide visibility into network health
- Representing the provider network in company-wide planning and flagging risks early
You bring 3+ years of work experience with at least 1 year in provider network management, provider success, or network operations at a telehealth company. You have demonstrated ownership over key network metrics (growth, retention, utilization, quality), enjoy building new processes, and communicate effectively across Clinical, Product, Compliance, and Commercial teams. Strong analytical skills and comfort with ambiguity and early-stage pace are essential. Experience in women's health or multi-license-type clinician networks is a plus.
The role offers fully remote work flexibility within the US, comprehensive health coverage, equity participation, 401(k), competitive vacation, and 16 weeks paid parental leave.
