Salary: USD 146,000 - 194,000 / annual
Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, is seeking a Manager of Proposals and Capture to lead the company's growth engine. You will be responsible for championing the development and delivery of major proposals that win new business for Anduril's government customers.
In this role, you will spend the majority of your time constructing compelling narratives and documents that convey Anduril's value proposition to the government. You will become a subject matter expert in your assigned business line portfolio and partner with stakeholders across growth/business development, legal, finance, engineering, program management, and executive teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading proposal efforts to win new business through expert document and narrative construction
- Managing and writing responses to government and customer requests for white papers, product information, quotes, and proposals
- Developing and maintaining strategic pricing across Anduril's products and business lines
- Creating and owning the proposal process with continuous improvement in mind
- Developing and curating a content library of prose, briefs, and graphics for company-wide use
- Coordinating with engineering teams to accurately represent Anduril's technology to potential customers
- Monitoring and flagging potential opportunities to key internal stakeholders
- Building processes where none exist and managing competing priorities in a hyper-growth environment
Anduril's Proposals & Capture Team is at the heart of the company's expansion, working across all business lines to execute capture, pricing, and outreach strategies. The role requires navigating a dynamic, fast-paced environment and collaborating with diverse disciplines including design, engineering, program management, supply chain, and finance.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent writing skills with ability to generate large documents on short timelines
- Demonstrated familiarity with cost accounting principles, pricing methodologies, and Excel for cost analysis and financial modeling
- Significant experience with the government acquisitions process
- Experience and aptitude in building processes where none exist
- Ability to clearly articulate information, understand business needs, and build relationships across the organization
- Comfort working with diverse disciplines including design, engineering, program management, supply chain, and finance
- U.S. Person status required (position requires access to export-controlled data)
