Salary: USD 146,000 - 194,000 / annual
Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, is seeking a Manager for Proposal & Capture to lead the development and delivery of major proposals across multiple business lines. This role sits at the heart of Anduril's growth engine, requiring strong project management and content generation skills to navigate a hyper-growth environment with competing priorities.
You will lead proposal efforts to win new business by constructing compelling narratives and documents that convey Anduril's value proposition to government customers. Key responsibilities include becoming a subject matter expert in your assigned business line (Air Defense, Electronic Warfare, or International), partnering with business and technical stakeholders to execute capture and pricing strategies, managing responses to government requests for proposals and white papers, developing and maintaining strategic pricing across product lines, and creating proposal processes with continuous improvement in mind.
Additional duties involve developing and curating a content library of prose, briefs, and graphics; coordinating with engineering teams to accurately represent technology capabilities; and monitoring/flagging opportunities to key stakeholders. You will work across diverse disciplines including design, engineering, program management, supply chain, and finance.
Required qualifications include excellent writing skills, significant experience with government acquisitions processes, experience building processes from scratch, ability to articulate information clearly and build cross-organizational relationships, U.S. Person status (required for export-controlled data access), and current security clearance (TS with SCI eligibility preferred). Special Access Program experience is required. The specific business line determines additional requirements: Air Defense roles need DoW contract/proposal/pricing experience and FAR 12 & 15 knowledge; Electronic Warfare roles require Secret clearance minimum (TS preferred) and technical proposal focus; International roles require international defense contracting experience and no clearance requirement.
Preferred qualifications include experience with DoD Mission Systems, Space, or Air Vehicles; supporting international customers via DCS/FMS/FMF; FAR 15.408 and Part 12 familiarity; complex engineering or R&D project experience; and CEMA technology knowledge.
