Your leadership will directly impact how Anduril delivers production quality and sustaining support for Bolt across its entire lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop close collaboration with Product, Engineering, Test, and Supply Chain leadership to execute the Product Development Process (PDP) and meet gate readiness review criteria (CDR, BRR, MRR/PRR) from prototype testing through full-rate production.
- Serve as the voice and leader for product development, production quality, supplier quality, and all functions contributing to efficient NPI/production processes and Bolt delivery to customers.
- Lead and manage a team to champion continuous improvement and failure mode elimination, driving part and system-level quality readiness for production scaling and supporting customer/deployment quality issues.
- Own and utilize Supplier Quality Engineering resources to manage supplier quality control, development programs, part qualification, and risk management for Bolt.
- Own and lead Quality Control processes, frameworks, and execution from detailed engineering requirements through inspection methods and tooling, collaborating with systems design partners.
- Set daily and weekly priorities for quality teams and establish a culture of best-in-class product quality through adoption of quality tools and processes.
- Drive production readiness through detailed design reviews, process development, verification/validation, and qualification of processes, parts, sub-assemblies, and system deployments.
- Drive clarity and resolution for performance ambiguities related to product maturity, process stability, and field performance impacting Bolt's quality and reliability goals.
- Drive ongoing quality performance for incoming, in-process, and end-of-line quality control.
- Own elimination of product risk by reducing process contribution to quality and reliability across the product lifecycle.
- Lead Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA), Non-Conformance Reviews (NCRs), Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA), and Material Review Board (MRB) activities, sharing lessons learned across the product team.
- Own and lead cross-functional alignment within Corrective Action Board (CAB) activities to drive ownership of quality issue investigations and resolutions regarding design, integration, process, and supply chain.
- Lead product health data analysis and improvement activities, establishing metrics for measuring quality and factors predicting quality performance.
- Support continuous improvement of the Quality Management System, defining and improving required documentation and activities.
- Develop strategies and resource plans with heads of production, program management, deployments, sourcing, and chief engineers/architects to meet customer and product requirements.
