Amplitude is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Delivery and SDK team within Statsig, a feature management and experimentation platform. This role combines technical leadership across two critical areas: the globally distributed systems that evaluate experiments and feature gates in real-time, and a suite of 30+ SDKs spanning web, mobile, server, edge, TV, gaming, and emerging platforms. The Delivery systems sit directly in the critical path of customer applications, requiring exceptional focus on availability, scale, correctness, and latency. The SDK ecosystem must feel native to each platform while maintaining consistency, reliability, and ease of adoption across vastly different development environments. You will lead and grow a team responsible for this polyglot infrastructure, defining technical strategy for highly available, low-latency evaluation systems operating at global scale. Key responsibilities include improving SDK ergonomics, performance, and documentation; expanding coverage as new platforms emerge; establishing shared architecture standards across diverse codebases; and partnering with product, infrastructure, and customer teams to solve complex integration challenges. This is a hands-on, technically versatile leadership role requiring comfort moving between technologies, learning unfamiliar systems, and solving problems across abstraction boundaries. You'll work across distributed systems, mobile platforms, server runtimes, edge environments, and developer tooling—sometimes all in the same week. Ideal candidates have production SDK or developer-facing library experience across native mobile and server-side environments, broad technical range across multiple programming languages and platforms, and experience leading teams responsible for developer infrastructure or business-critical production software. Strong understanding of API/SDK design, backward compatibility, performance, and release management is essential. You should have a generalist mindset, enjoy learning new technologies, and excel at connecting infrastructure architecture, developer experience, and customer needs into coherent technical roadmaps.
