Amplitude is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Delivery and SDK team within Statsig, a feature management and experimentation platform. This role combines leadership of two critical technical areas: (1) globally distributed delivery systems that evaluate experiments and feature gates at scale, sitting in the critical path of customer applications; and (2) a suite of 30+ SDKs spanning web, mobile, server, edge, TV, gaming, and emerging platforms. You will lead a team responsible for building systems that connect developers to Statsig and safely deliver product experiences to end users worldwide. The role requires hands-on technical leadership across a polyglot ecosystem—distributed systems, mobile platforms, server runtimes, edge environments, and developer tooling. You'll define technical strategy for highly available, low-latency evaluation systems operating at global scale, continuously improve SDK ergonomics and reliability, expand coverage to new languages and platforms, and establish shared architecture standards across diverse codebases. Key responsibilities include leading and growing the team, defining technical strategy for global delivery infrastructure, making Statsig easy to adopt through SDK improvements, expanding platform coverage, establishing quality standards across polyglot code, and partnering with product, infrastructure, and customer-facing teams on integration challenges. Ideal candidates have experience developing production SDKs or developer-facing libraries across native mobile and server-side environments, broad technical range across multiple programming languages and platforms, experience leading teams responsible for developer infrastructure or business-critical production software, strong understanding of API/SDK design including ergonomics and backward compatibility, experience building highly available low-latency systems, a generalist mindset with comfort learning new technologies, and ability to connect infrastructure architecture with developer experience and customer needs.
