Key responsibilities include: • Shape and optimize supply chain and order fulfillment operations, serving as the central interface between customers, Sales, Operations, Production, and Procurement to ensure reliable order execution and on-time delivery. • Manage end-to-end order fulfillment by aligning customer requirements, demand forecasts, production plans, and material availability through S&OP/IBP processes. • Develop scalable warehouse concepts and define inbound and outbound logistics for new sites, including transport concepts, packaging specifications, handling standards, delivery processes, and KPIs. • Establish and enforce standards for storage, handling, and transportation of batteries and hazardous materials, ensuring compliance with ADR, IMDG, IATA, and other applicable regulations. • Support implementation and continuous improvement of SAP S/4HANA-based processes and system interfaces; manage inventory and material availability to balance customer requirements, operational continuity, working capital, and supply chain resilience. • Drive continuous improvement by developing and standardizing processes, SOPs, workflows, and performance management systems. Lead stakeholder meetings and prepare strategic presentations, business cases, performance reviews, and decision briefs. You will work across multiple sites (Aachen, Dormagen, and Wernberg-Köblitz) in a mission-driven, fast-paced scale-up environment focused on strengthening Europe's battery supply chains. Requirements: • Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering (with focus on Production Technology), or comparable field. • At least 3 years of professional experience in supply chain management, S&OP, operations, or manufacturing, ideally in industrial, chemical, or automotive environments. • Familiarity with hazardous materials handling and relevant regulations (ADR, REACH). • Experience with SAP S/4HANA or comparable ERP system, particularly in supply chain, inventory, order management, or fulfillment. • Strong project management skills and proven track record of driving cross-functional initiatives from planning through implementation. • Analytical approach to challenges, data-driven decision-making, and ability to identify process improvement opportunities. • Strategic thinking combined with hands-on mindset. • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across all organizational levels. • Professional fluency in German (written and spoken); good command of English required. • Willingness to travel between sites as needed.
