You will join as Merchandising Manager for the Kids & Baby category, responsible for scaling and managing the assortment across all product categories in this growing business segment. Your core mission is to delight Quince's customer base by expanding the Kids & Baby apparel line while maintaining the company's commitment to quality, sustainability, and value. Key responsibilities include: - Scaling the Kids & Baby business by adding, refining, and improving assortments across all product categories - Identifying and executing expansion opportunities for long-term growth - Collaborating with product development, sourcing, and technical design teams to develop and improve products - Partnering with planning, site merchandising, and marketing teams to grow the business - Obsessing over every product aspect—quality, price, sustainability, safety standards—to deliver exceptional value to customers and parents - Driving the business forward to meet sales targets, improve customer ratings, reduce return rates, and enhance margins You will need 5–10 years of retail merchandising experience in Kids & Baby categories, preferably with luxury or premium brand expertise. E-commerce and DTC experience is preferred. You should demonstrate a proven track record of career progression and continuous growth. Mastery of merchandising analytics is essential—you'll leverage sales data, customer metrics, and reporting tools to drive category strategy and assortment decisions with quantitative rigor. You are product-obsessed, detail-oriented, highly organized, and analytical, with a critical eye for anticipating both parent and child needs. The role is based in San Francisco with a 3-day-per-week in-office requirement.
