Hims & Hers, a leading health and wellness platform and NYSE-traded public company, is seeking a Manager, Legal Programs (Privacy & AI) to join its growing Legal team. This role bridges established privacy governance and emerging AI governance, requiring close partnership with Privacy and AI Counsels, the Privacy Program Manager, and cross-functional business teams.
In the AI Governance Program, you will lead day-to-day operations including developing processes, workflows, and documentation for responsible AI use across the company. You'll manage the cross-functional AI governance committee (spanning Product, Engineering, Clinical, and Legal), own the AI incident response process, maintain an inventory of AI systems and use cases, and monitor the evolving AI regulatory landscape (EU AI Act, emerging US state laws) to translate requirements into practical updates.
In the Privacy Program, you'll partner with the Privacy Program Manager to run and refine the privacy program in coordination with Legal, Product, and Engineering. Responsibilities include managing compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and medical privacy laws; maintaining data maps and records of processing activities; conducting initial privacy risk reviews on new initiatives; supporting the vendor review program; and coordinating with Legal and Public Policy on evolving legislation.
Across both programs, you'll own implementation of strategic legal initiatives requiring cross-functional collaboration and coordinate with Legal and Public Policy teams on privacy and AI legislation monitoring.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience (Required)
- 6+ years of experience in legal project/program management with focus on privacy and/or AI governance (Required)
- Familiarity with AI governance frameworks and/or emerging AI regulation
- Experience managing stakeholders and cross-functional teams from project initiation through close
- Strong organization, project management, and time-management skills
- Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving and delivering operational results
- Ability to operate autonomously across multiple teams and interact with diverse stakeholders from engineers to executive leadership
