Salary: USD 135,000 - 150,000 / annual

OpenGov is seeking a Manager II, Professional Services to lead and support a team of Implementation Analysts and Implementation Consultants responsible for deploying OpenGov's AI and ERP solutions to local and state governments across the U.S. Reporting to a Professional Services Director or Sr. Manager, you will oversee the successful implementation of solutions including enterprise asset management, procurement, accounting, budgeting, billing, permitting, and transparency tools. Key responsibilities include leading and mentoring a team of implementation professionals, driving execution of high-quality customer implementations through data requirements gathering and technical platform configuration, and providing hands-on support for complex projects. You will oversee data transformation strategies, workflow optimization, and administrator training while ensuring delivery consistency against established methodology and quality standards. You will track team utilization, delivery metrics, and project portfolio health to ensure successful outcomes. The role requires balancing competing project priorities, customer needs, and internal resource availability while collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams. You will identify and mitigate risks across the implementation portfolio, gather customer feedback to inform process improvements, and support recruiting and onboarding initiatives to scale the team. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 3+ years of project delivery experience in a SaaS setting, and prior people management experience. You must demonstrate strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical thinking, systems perspective, and the ability to understand and model customer workflows are essential. You should have demonstrated ability to understand product configuration requirements, process logic, and architecture, and to build and deliver functional presentations. Preferred experience includes familiarity with government budgeting concepts, finance/budgeting solutions, procurement, permitting, licensing, or asset management. Strong Excel skills (v-lookup, pivot tables, error-checking, report development) are required. Experience delivering training or support to end users in government or regulated environments is advantageous. The role requires approximately 25% travel.
