Pivotal Health is seeking a Manager of IDR and Industry Relations to lead strategic initiatives around Independent Dispute Resolution (IDR) and healthcare reimbursement. This role combines deep subject matter expertise with external stakeholder management and internal team enablement.
In this position, you will serve as Pivotal's internal authority on Federal IDR requirements, regulations, and industry trends. You'll partner with Client Success and Operations teams to address complex client questions, support high-stakes client meetings, and develop educational materials that clarify the IDR landscape for both internal stakeholders and customers.
You will own strategic relationships with all major IDREs (Independent Dispute Resolution Entities), conducting recurring business reviews, monitoring turnaround times and operational performance, and serving as Pivotal's primary point of contact for IDRE-related initiatives. This external relationship management is critical to the company's growth and product roadmap.
Regulatory monitoring is a core responsibility. You'll track CMS guidance, Final Rules, FAQs, court decisions, and other developments impacting the No Surprises Act. You'll translate these changes into actionable operational and product recommendations, and develop briefings for leadership and clients.
You'll represent Pivotal in industry associations, conferences, and working groups, helping establish the company as a thought leader in the IDR space. You'll also build internal capabilities by delivering ongoing training to Client Success, Operations, and Product teams, maintaining a centralized repository of IDR guidance, and creating recurring updates on industry trends.
Ideal candidates bring deep familiarity with the No Surprises Act and Federal IDR process, prior experience working with healthcare providers, payors, IDREs, or organizations in the IDR ecosystem, and strong stakeholder management skills. Healthcare operations, reimbursement, or dispute resolution experience is highly valued. You should be comfortable interpreting complex regulatory information and communicating it clearly to diverse audiences, and ideally have existing relationships within the Federal IDR ecosystem.
