Lead a team of engineers building Infrastructure as Code and Secrets protection products at Datadog, one of the fastest-growing areas within the company's security business. You'll own the team's roadmap, staffing, and delivery while partnering closely with Product Management and User Experience teams.
Key responsibilities include leading and growing the engineering team, owning roadmap and delivery priorities, staying hands-on with code review and design decisions, and participating in on-call rotation. You'll integrate AI agents and agentic coding tools deeply into how your team builds and delivers, helping engineers adopt new workflows. Coach engineers at all levels, providing direct feedback and helping them grow their scope and careers. Keep projects organized as priorities shift in this fast-growing area.
You bring 2+ years of experience managing software engineers with a track record of shipping through your team. You have a strong technical background you can draw on in roadmap and design conversations, and you're comfortable staying close to the work—reviewing code and unblocking technical decisions alongside your team. You've integrated AI agents into your delivery process, not just experimented with them. You excel at keeping projects and programs organized even as priorities and scope shift.
