Relativity Space is building the Terran R rocket to deliver customer payloads to orbit and advance commercial spaceflight. The launch operations team at Cape Canaveral is responsible for vehicle integration, payload integration, pad operations, countdown operations, recovery, and reusability infrastructure.
As Manager of High Power Engineering, you will lead the electrical utility construction and design efforts for launch facilities. Your responsibilities include developing construction drawings, managing requests for proposals, evaluating competitive bids, selecting and managing subcontractors, and designing electrical systems for hazardous areas. You will lead and mentor a team of engineers and technicians, create and maintain project schedules and budgets, and develop processes to optimize team workflow.
You will work across multiple engineering disciplines to build critical systems including the launch pad, transport erector, integration hardware, transport vessels, and horizontal integration facilities supporting the Terran R program. This role requires balancing technical design expertise with project management and team leadership in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
You bring a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, with substantial construction industry experience working with electrical systems. Your background includes a mix of analysis/design, hands-on field experience, project management, and project execution. You have demonstrated success leading complex projects with matrixed team organizations and multiple stakeholders, and you thrive working with multidisciplined groups in dynamic environments.
