Salary: USD 95,000 - 120,000 / annual

Pomelo Care is a virtual medical practice serving women and children across pregnancy, postpartum, pediatrics, menopause, and perimenopause. This Manager, Growth role reports to the VP of Growth and focuses on accelerating the health plan partnership pipeline through research, operational excellence, and deal support. Key responsibilities include sourcing and tracking health plan opportunities while maintaining CRM data hygiene for accurate reporting and forecasting. You will own preparation for customer meetings, including stakeholder research, pitch deck customization, and briefing material creation for leadership. The role requires synthesizing key takeaways from partner meetings and managing internal and external follow-up actions to advance deals. You will conduct market research on prospective partners and health plan priorities, providing actionable intelligence to the team. Collaboration with Partnerships and Marketing teams is essential to develop pitches, conference materials, and case studies that demonstrate Pomelo's value to payers. Ideal candidates have 2-4+ years in client-facing or analytical roles, with management consulting experience strongly preferred. Healthcare experience (2+ years) or demonstrated ability to quickly master complex domains like payer dynamics and value-based care is required. You should be a structured thinker with strong organizational and problem-solving skills, comfortable with ambiguity and able to translate it into clear action items. The role demands an action-oriented mindset suited to fast-paced, metric-driven environments. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential, including the ability to produce high-quality slides and written synthesis for internal and external audiences. Bonus qualifications include financial modeling experience, pricing proposal development, and familiarity with insurance coverage by line of business (Commercial and Medicaid).
