Salary: USD 148,500 - 239,200 / annual
Squarespace is seeking a Manager of Financial Systems to lead cross-functional delivery and drive solutions across critical Finance processes. You will manage a team of 3–4 direct reports, own the financial systems roadmap across NetSuite, Coupa, NSPB, and related platforms, and partner with Accounting, FP&A, Tax, AP, Procurement, Internal Controls, and IT to translate financial process needs into durable technology solutions.
Key responsibilities include leading and developing your team with regular feedback and performance management; owning the systems roadmap and sequencing investments against Finance and company goals; driving implementations, enhancements, and maintenance across platforms including SOX compliance and data integrity audits; managing priorities and trade-offs in a multi-project environment; and maintaining transparent intake and prioritization processes.
You will report to the Director of Financial Systems and work hybrid from the NYC office 3 days per week. The role requires 8+ years of financial systems experience, including 3+ years leading a team or function, with a track record of delivering complex cross-functional initiatives. You should have hands-on experience administering financial systems, managing configurations and integrations across multi-tool environments, and demonstrated ability to manage service delivery across competing priorities. Experience leading people through ambiguity, setting direction, delegating clearly, and driving alignment across Finance, Engineering, and IT is essential. Nice-to-have skills include designing or automating financial workflows and managing external vendors or implementation consultants.
